Tragedy struck this morning, January 6, on the popular Lagos/Ibadan expressway following a fatal accident which claimed three lives. The accident which involved a truck conveying tomatoes and pepper happened at about 5 a.m occured on the long bridge near Warewa bus stop on the expressway.
According to one of the police officers on ground at the accident scene who spoke to Naij.com, three people died as a result of the accident.
As at the time of filing this report, men of the Nigerian police and Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC) were at the scene of the crash evacuating the victims and vehicles involved in the accident to ensure free flow of the traffic on the busy road.

Recall that on Monday, January 4, seven people died and 17 others seriously injured in an accident that occurred at the Sagamu/Iperu Remo junction on the Lagos-Benin expressway.
