In line with the advice given by Governor Akinwunmi Ambode of Lagos to the police to use their security gadgets he donated to them wisely, the force has begun to put them into use.
The governor, a month ago, donated security equipment and vehicles to the state police command and the Rapid Response Squad (RRS) valued at N4.765bn in a bid to tackle insecurity and crime in the state.
The governor, while handing over the vehicles, urged the security operatives to take the vehicles to good use and it seems this is already manifesting as the helicopers and gun boats were spotted patrolling the metropolis.
