Radio and TV host Fade Ogunro has revealed she is quitting her job at urban Lagos radio station, The Beat 99.9 FM.
She shared a screenshot of the tweet to this effect from the official Beat FM twitter handle on her instagram on December 27.
Since becoming a known face in the Nigerian media industry, Fade has anchored both on radio and TV but she appears to have found a greater passion in television hence her recent decision to switch.
She will host her last radio show on Sunday, January 3, 2016, after which she will be focusing totally on TV and video production, sources say.
Throughout her time at the station, she was a popular voice on the weekend show called The Liquid Lounge.
Fade Ogunro is the younger sister of video director Sesan Ogunro who is famed for working with some of Nigeria’s biggest music stars.
On Wednesday, December 16, she was the host at Spice Route where singer Tiwa Savage hosted fans and media personalities to a free listening session of her latest album R.E.D.
