Anyway, The video which shows four Pokémon going on manhunts is trending on the internet already, with over a million views per hour since its release on Facebook on the 3 of August 2016.
The clip, titled "Pokémon Go - The Revenge," was produced by an Agency called "Fadeout", and shows Pikachu Panel oversized Poké Balls being thrown at people who are busy looking into their smartphones on the streets.
The hunt leads to known Basler landmarks: The St. Jakob-Park, The Old Town, the Rhine, and the Tinguely Fountain,.
Only few hours after it was posted on Facebook, the video already became a smashing hit, and already has over 27M views and rising; with several people sharing and downloading it.
The Pokemon franchise was created by Satoshi Tajiri in 1995, and is centered on fictional creatures called "Pokémon", which humans, known as Pokémon Trainers, catch and train to battle each other for sport.
The brand is enjoying something of a global renaissance after the introduction of Pokemon Go, which is essentially a free-to-play, location-based augmented reality game developed and published by Niantic for iOS and Android devices. It was initially released in selected countries in July 2016.
