On February 21, 2016 Nollywood actress Uche Jombo-Rodriguez, 36, responded to an insult on Twitter.
A Twitter user described newly married actress Monalisa Chinda a ‘veteran spinster’ and questioned when Uche Jombo, Genevieve Nnaji, and Rita Dominic would get married.

Uche Jombo saw the tweet and clapped back with her reply. “The name is Uche JOMBO…Mrs Rodriguez if u like..words like 'veteran spinster' shouldn't be part of English language."

In 2012, Uche Jombo got married to Kenny Rodriguez. She gave birth to a boy Matthew Rodriguez last year.
Uche Jombo is set to star in the movie ‘Wives on Strike’ produced by Omoni Oboli. The comedy film which will hit cinemas on April 8, features Nollywood talents, such as Chioma Akpotha, Ufuoma McDermott, Kehinde Bankole, Kalu Ikeagwu, Julius Agwu, Kenneth Okonkwo and many others.
